SWC Technology Partners is searching for a Business Analyst Intern to join our Client Experience team starting January 2019. This person should be passionate about supporting initiatives and desire an opportunity to train with a company that will challenge you as well as potentially provide opportunity for growth after graduation.
This Intern can expect to work with cutting edge technology and collaborative teams to learn how to deliver high quality solutions across various local industries. This position will be based in our Oak Brook, Illinois office.
Collaboration: Gain an understanding of client needs and play a part in working on practical solutions to meet client expectations
Business Requirements Consumption: Ability to gain an understanding of written and verbal business requirements provided by other business analysts or internal developers
Apply Development Methodologies: Work with various user stories, within agile/waterfall methodologies ensuring project best practices for successful delivery
Implementation and Support: Assist with writing functional requirements for simple software development projects and ongoing software support
Application Development Community: Work with and assist the application developers in creating various user stories, requirements and being a liaison with the teams
Currently attending an accredited college or university attaining a degree with technology or business
Must be a local candidate, a minimum of 20 hours a week on-site in the Oak Brook, IL location for an 8-12 week internship
This candidate must be an active Junior/Senior student graduating May 2019 or May 2020
Experience with Microsoft suite of products to include Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook and Excel
Student must be in good standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
6 months IT related experience is required
Must show initiative in developing a career within business analysis post-graduation
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail with good organization skills are essential
Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer
