MJ Ventures / MJ Technologies is a company recently founded by alumni of the college and the Harris School at the University of Chicago.

COMPANY MISSION:
We focus on building software applications and tools for non-profits, political campaigns, SMEs, and start-ups. Our focus is building applications that incorporate generative AI to help bridge the gap between small business and big tech.

SOFTWARES/LANGUAGES:
Django, Flask, Python for back-end + Jinja frontend (also open to Java, React) + Python, GCP, Docker to host. We are open to using other languages.

SEEKING:
- Developers who know either front, back, or full-stack
- Willing to work 15-35 hours/week. Work at your convenience and very flexible check-in meetings.
- Expected to meet with the tech lead 2x/a week for 30 minutes and be fairly responsive via Slack.

PAYMENT:
You will log hours and be paid bi-weekly at a rate of $40-55/hr based on skills and experience.
