Computer Science Job Board

nexar mission:
Quality human connection is what gives purpose and meaning to our lives. Founded by two UChicago alums and industry veterans, nexar is an early stage startup using AI techniques to help people all over the world to build intelligent human connections. You will work directly with the founding team to publish a mobile app MVP (minimum viable product) for targeted genealogy enthusiasts as the first use case.

Qualifications:
MUST HAVE: prior experience with python, Flask, Next.js, expo-router etc.
Ideally worked on iOS and Android mobile apps in the past, including the support of multiple languages such as English and Mandarin.
Strong interest in applying the latest AI techniques to real world problems.
Enjoy the fluid entrepreneurial environment, fast learner, take initiative and ownership in what you do.

School-year opportunity!

Responsibilities:
Key member of the team to build and publish our MVP. Iterate based on customer behavioral feedback.
The ability to work at least 10 hours/week. 20 hours/week strongly preferred. Make your own schedule. It’s the output that counts.
Willingness to work at least 3 months. Longer time is preferable.
